Real Spain is a fully legal, Spanish registered estate agency. We are a family run business concentrating on customer care and service. We believe in matching properties to people and understand that you may need several trips and many viewings before you find the perfect match. After all, it is a big step and an important investment of your hard-earned money.

The owner of Real Spain, Juanjo, was born and bred in Velez Rubio and therefore knows the area, the people and the market inside out. He is assisted by his English wife, Carrie, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, and who is happy to help clients with the many and varied details of their new life, before, during and long after purchase.

We also have two other bi-lingual members of staff, Steve and Franci, who, between them, have many years of experience of the Los Velez area. Our after sales service is second to none. Our office has become a drop-in centre for those in need of advice -many of whom have bought through other agents!

Our advice to all newcomers to the area is to ask around before choosing an agent and most definitely to compare prices. We do not handcuff our clients to us like many do – after all, we have nothing to hide and everything to gain.

Wherever you end up buying in Spain, please remember that a big S.L. company with legions of staff and prime-site, fancy offices are, more often than not, funding those very same things from inflated commissions charged to their clients.

The prices of all our properties include all agency fees and commissions (payable by the vendor) but please bear in mind that there are other fees involved when purchasing property in Spain such as purchase tax and notary, registry and solicitor’s fees.
